South African consumers remain in a delicate financial position as they navigate what's come to be known as JanuWorry. This is according to debt management service company, Debt Rescue. It notes that 2025 was one of the toughest years for South African consumers from all walks of life. And while fuel prices have come down for the month of January, the company says this won't offset the many expenses households need to cover.
