Sudanese rival generals fight for country's control

Sudan's army chief General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan has met his troops in the capital, Khartoum.
Soldiers cheered as he walked outside the Headquarters of the Ground Forces in Khartoum.
This appears to be Burhan's third public appearance since the fighting began between the army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces last month.

Let's bring in Hamid Khalafallah who is a Sudanese researcher and policy analyst.
He's also a non-resident fellow at the Tahrir Institute for Middle East Policy, and joins us live from Cairo.
