The ANC in the North West is intending to haul the recently removed mayor of Greater Taung Local Municipality Tumisang Gaoraelwe, before a disciplinary committee.
Gaoraelwe was removed from his position through a motion of no confidence sponsored by the ANC last week. This, after he refused to resign, despite being recalled by the party.
He was involved in several accidents with municipal vehicles since he became mayor in 2021.
