The recovery operation for the fifth body that was trapped under the rubble at the site of the collapsed Redcliffe Temple in Verulam resumes this morning.

The operation was called off yesterday afternoon due to heavy rains. Rescuers recovered the bodies of four people who died when the four-storey structure crashed.

One of the deceased is believed to be one of the directors of the temple.

KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thamsanqa Ntuli pays a visit to the site.
