The United Democratic Movement has welcomed Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos's apology. However, the party will not withdraw its complaint to the South African Human Rights Commission.

UDM Deputy President, Nqabayomzi Kwankwa, says their complaint seeks to show that no one is above the supreme law of the country, which is the constitution.

Bafana Bafana boss has been under fire since last week after his utterances were strongly condemed. Broos rebuked Mbekezeli Mbokazi for his late arrival to the Afcon camp.

He also said that Mbokazi's recent move to Chicago Fire from Orlando Pirates was ill-advised.

Bafana Bafana are in the final stages of their preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Morocco.
