If traffic jams and unroadworthy public transport wasn't enough, female commuters in Uganda's capital Kampala also have to contend with unwanted advances from male passengers. But a new women-led taxi service called Taxi Divas has taken to the strees of Kampala. The taxis provide a safe haven for femal passengers and give their drivers, many of whom have lost incomes because of the coronavirus pandemic, a chance to earn money.
