The U.S. military has carried out an air strike targeting an al-Shabaab camp. According to a statement released by U.S. Africa Command, the mission took place just over 200 kilometres north-west of the capital, Mogadishu. The U.S. claims to have killed more than a-hundred militants. The strike was carried out in coordination with Somalia's government.
