Police are still on a manhunt for the assailants who shot and killed two men in close proximity in two separate incidents in Athlone in Cape Town yesterday.
A 32-year-old man was fatally wounded whilst sitting in a car outside the Athlone Magistrate's Court.
Minutes later, about 300 meters away, another man was fatally shot.
Residents and community leaders say shootings and gun violence around the court precinct are concerning.
