The Pafuri and Giriyondo border posts in the Kruger National Park in Limpopo have been closed due to heavy rainfall. SANParks spokesperson, JP Louw says heavy rainfall has caused several rivers to rise rapidly affecting travel routes between major rest camps in Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Louw says visitors are urged to revise their travel plans, expect possible road closures, and follow instructions from park officials.
