To Naval Base Simon's Town now where navies from BRICS Plus countries, including China, Iran and Russia, will take part in an intensive programme of joint maritime safety operations and drills. During the course of the WILL FOR PEACE 2026 exercise South Africa will act as a training area. Authorities say there will be a transfer of knowledge that will have a good impact on maritime practices.
