GOVERNMENT ASSESSES GROWTH IN PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING SECTOR

Government officials, led by Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Ambassador Tadeous Chifamba, toured Varichem Pharmaceuticals in Harare as part of a fact-finding mission on production trends, industry challenges and growth opportunities. The visit comes as Zimbabwe's pharmaceutical manufacturing sector scales up production to reduce import dependence and support the Zimbabwe Industrial Reconstruction and Growth Plan 2026–2030.
