The new 150-million dollar Victoria Falls International Airport has opened its new and upgraded facilities to the world. The airport now has the capacity to handle 1.5 million passengers annually, three times more than its previous capacity. It has a longer run way, new state of the art air traffic control tower and terminal building. The airport will now make Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world and Zimbabwe's biggest tourist attraction, accessible by direct international flights.
