The Kouga Municipality in the Eastern Cape has issued an urgent evacuation notice due to raging veld fires in Zwartenbosch near Humansdorp towards Hankey.
Authorities have also urged residents on the outskirts of St Francis Bay, to leave the affected areas immediately.
The R330 between Humansdorp and Hankey is closed due to poor visibility and the proximity of the fires.
