He made the comment as Democrats won Tuesday U.S. election night. On the continent, the Sudan war between the army and the Rapid Support Forces continues to devastate communities.
And the African Union announced that last week's Tanzania election failed to comply with democratic standards as opposition said hudreds were killed in post-election protests.
