resident Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Advocate Jan Lekgoa Mothibi as the new National Director of Public Prosecutions, replacing Advocate Shamila Batohi whose term is coming to an end. The appointment will be effective from the 1st of February 2026. Canny Maphanga has more.
