ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa says despite its challenges, the ANC remains a special organisation in South Africa.

He was speaking at the grave of the late ANC Treasurer General and SACP General Secretary Moses Kotane in Pella outside Rustenburg in North West.

This is part of the ANC's mobilisation programme ahead of its birthday celebrations this weekend.

The ANC commemorates 114 years of its existence today but its main celebrations will take place at the Moruleng stadium on Satuday.

For more on this we are joined by political analyst Hlumelo Xaba.
