Residents in Bakkersdal, west Johannesburg, say they are living in fear as gangs terrorise their community.

This follows an overnight mass shooting at a local tavern, which left several people dead and others injured in KwaNoxolo Tavern in the Tambo section.

They call for urgent law enforcement deployment, demanding more police presence to tackle gang violence.
