The Border Management Authority (BMA) has disrupted suspected human trafficking operations at OR Tambo International Airport, intercepting 14 Ethiopian nationals and 16 Bangladeshi nationals.
The interceptions, carried out by BMA immigration and border law enforcement teams, form part of intensified efforts to combat human trafficking, irregular migration, and transnational organised crime, particularly during the festive season.
