BMA steps up operations at Maseru border post

The Border Management Authority says hundreds of people are arrested, three-hundred deported and 50 refused entry at the Maseru Bridge and Ficksburg border posts, and other ports of entry between South Africa and Lesotho.

Traffic volumes remain high at the Maseru Border Post as holidaymakers return to South Africa. The BMA says it is strengthening operations at border points across the country as return traffic peaks. SABC News reporter Makgala Masiteng has more details.
