Chaos ahead of Ghana's presidential swearing-in

Ghana's armed forces had to be called in to quell clashes between supporters of President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo and John Mahama. The drama started before Akufo-Addo's ceremonial swearing-in, when a lawmaker stole a ballot box. Despite being recognized as president by Ghana's electoral commission and outside observers, the election results have been strongly disputed by the opposition.
