In Ghana, seven political parties have signed a peace accord, pledging to ensure a free, fair and credible vote next week. Drafted by the Electoral Commission, the presidential candidates signed the agreement in person. The occasion was witnessed by the Commonwealth Observer Mission, led by former South African President, Thabo Mbeki, the chairperson of regional body ECOWAS and members of the National Peace Council.
