Labour unions have called on government to stop conducting business with private security companies that are not compliant with collective agreements. ​They say non-compliance issues are widespread in the security sector. Some security companies are accused of defrauding workers by deducting money for medical insurance and pension funds but failing to pay these amounts over to the respective service providers. Jack Mazibuko is the General Secretary of the South African Transport and Allied Workers' Union, SATAWU. He joins us on the line.
