Hawks sergeant, Papie Tsie and Tembisa Hospital official, Zacharia Chisele, have been granted bail of R5 000 each by the Pretoria Magistrate's Court.

Both accused are facing charges of corruption after they allegedly attempted to bribe a Hawks officer working on the ongoing Tembisa Hospital investigations.

They were arrested last week after paying a bribe of R100 000 to the investigating officer, who had planned to arrest them as soon as the transaction was completed.
