State prosecutor, Greg Wolmarans, has told the Western Cape High Court that on the day top cop and anti-Gang-unit member, Charl Kinnear, was murdered, his whereabouts were traced by alleged gang boss, Nafiz Modack's co-accused, Zane Killian. The state has presented evidence that in one instance, Killian pinged Kinnear seven times within an hour. This emerged during Modack's trial. Modack and 14 co-accused face over a hundred charges, including the 2020 murder of Kinnear, attempted murder, running a criminal enterprise and money laundering.
