Two major crime developments are in focus today. Alleged underworld figure Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala has been transferred to a maximum-security prison in Kokstad. In a separate case, proceedings against five suspects accused of killing nine people in a shooting at the KwaNoxolo tavern in Bekkersdal have been postponed to the 5th of January, with the court ordering that the identities of the accused not be released until an identity parade has been finalised.
