As the year draws to an end, political parties represented in the National Assembly have been rating government's performance throughout the year.

The 2024 general elections saw the establishment of a coalition government for the first time.

As GNU parties work to run the country while negotiating diverse ideological standpoints, there have been cracks, at one point requiring the national budget to be tweaked and for concessions before it could pass.

Earlier this year, Build One South Africa rated the one-year-old GNU 40%.
