Last month, SABC News told the story of a 20-year-old from Motherwell in the Eastern Cape, who went viral after selling kotas and dancing in the streets to raise money for his initiation.
At the time, Ahlumile Ndyebaz had appealed for donations, as his unemployed mother could not afford the costs of the traditional rite of passage.
That appeal has turned into a celebration, after the community came together to ensure he completes his initiation with a successful homecoming ceremony.
