Concerns are mounting in the Eastern Cape as wildfires continue to flare up. Kouga Municipality Fire Services have since ordered an immediate evacuation of Linderhof residents as a safety measure, following flare ups near Oyster bay. Wind speed has picked up causing more flare ups; however most fires are still under control, and helicopters are assisting to extinguish the fire in the Kouga area.
