The Matric class of 2025 at St Dominc's Priory in Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape achieved a 100% pass rate for their matric exams. Eleven of the 69 candidates at the school averaged over 80%, while a further 17 students averaged between 70 and 79% for their respective subjects.

St Dominic's Priory is just one of the hundreds of schools that took part in the 2025 IEB National Certificate Exams and contributed to its national pass rate of 98%. The students say they are very proud of themselves. Kim Daniels has more.
