Power utility Eskom is holding another round of wage negotiations with labour unions at the National Bargaining Forum. Unions are demanding a 15% salary increase for their members as part of the early talks. The current 7% multiyear agreement is due to expire in June 2026, but the National Union of Mineworkers has already raised several issues that could potentially stall progress.
