The Free State government is prioritising its budget to improve access to healthcare and recruiting unemployed doctors to ease the burden in healthcare facilities. During the mid-term adjustment budget, Finance MEC Ketso Makume announced that the proposed budget for the Health Department amounts to R415 million. Some funds will address emergency plans for Aids Relief.
