Former Public Enterprises minister Malusi Gigaba has been charged with corruption related to a multi-billion-rand tender at TRANSNET. The tender involves the procurement of more than one thousand locomotives worth more than R54 billion.

Gigaba appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate's Court in Johannesburg alongside four co-accused this morning.
