France's Macron heads to Rwanda to reset ties, address role in 1994 genocide.

French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Kigali on Thursday to reset ties after years of Rwandan accusations that France was complicit in the 1994 genocide.
In March, a French report concluded that France's role in the civil war was "serious and overwhelming".
Rwandan President Paul Kagame has repeatedly accused France was aiding the genocide which left up to 800,000 people dead, who were mostly from the minority Tutsi group.
France had supported Kagame's rival by providing weapons and military training.

Al Jazeera's Malcolm Webb reports from Kigali, Rwanda.
