Hundreds of people were left homeless when a fire swept through the Tsepe Tsepe informal settlement, along Phakamani Road, in Khayelitsha on the Cape Flats. Around two hundred shacks were gutted in the blaze. Affected residents have been left without food, shelter or clothes.
