Police in Limpopo have conducted a series of raids on liquor stores in Mankweng, outside Polokwane. The operations have resulted in multiple arrests and the seizure of illegal cigarettes and dagga. The raids are part of ongoing efforts to enforce liquor laws, and ensure that taverns do not play loud music. This is to create a conducive learning and studying environment for pupils and students during their final exams. Several road blocks were also conducted as part of the build up for a safe festive season.
