At the Madlanga Commission today, former Ekurhuleni City Manager Dr. Imogen Mashazi revealed that female officers had approached her with complaints of sexual harassment.
She, however, told the Commission that none of the women filed formal complaints with management. Mashazi added that, in response, she introduced a women's empowerment programme aimed at helping female officers secure promotions and claim leadership positions within the department.
