The Madlanga Commission will hear evidence from the Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu who's on special leave, relating to allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system. It's his second day after it was adjourned on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the relationship between suspended Ekurhuleni deputy police chief, Commissioner Julius Mkhwanazi and Vusimuzi "Cat" Matlala came under the spotlight at the Madlanga Commission. Mkhwanazi has testified that CAT VIP was appointed to assist the EMPD in dealing with a possible threat.
