Senzo Mchunu, the Minister of Police who is currently on a leave of absence, will this afternoon give his testimony at the Madlanga Commission. On the 6th of July this year, KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner of Police, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi named Mchunu as one of the senior SAPS leaders involved in alleged criminal and political interference in the criminal justice system, after his decision to also disband the Political Killings Task Team. This morning, the Commission will also continue hearing evidence from Former Ekurhuleni City Manager Dr Imogen Mashazi. To talk more about what is at stake for the Minister of Police , we are joined by Levy Ndou, Political analyst and Mzwandile Mbeje, SABC News Political Editor.
