Kimberley's Sol Plaatje Municipality officially opened four of its revamped resorts over the festive season.
Langley Resort was the main drawcard today with thousands of sunseekers flocking to the resort next to the Vaal River to find some relief from the sweltering heat.
The resort was closed for many years due to flooding caused by the Vaal River in the past.
