The 2019 Duduzane Zuma culpable homicide case AND the 2014 fraud, corruption and money-laundering case of former Gauteng Health MEC Brian Hlongwa, are among the matters NPA head advocate Shamila Batohi, referred to Senior Advocate Fana Nalane SC for assessment before Advocate Batohi could refer the matter to the President. Nalane was asked to form an opinion on how suspended South Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions, Advocate Andrew Chauke, handled the cases.
