In a dramatic turn of events, a no-confidence motion against Johannesburg Executive Mayor Dada Morero was abruptly withdrawn at the Johannesburg City Council meeting. The motion was brought by smaller political parties within the Joburg council including Al-Jama-ah, UDM and the African Transformation Movement. Johannesburg mayor Dada Morero says they were able to find each other with the coalition partners in a meeting held on the eve of the motion.
