Northern Cape welcomes 245 medical interns

The Northern Cape department of health has welcomed 245 medical interns who have been deployed to all five districts across the province for community service.

This will help ease the load currently carried by the provincial department of health that was flagged by the Health Ombudsman in 2025 for slacking off and failing patients, leading to the death of two psychiatric patients.
