The South African National Defence Force has intercepted more than a thousand Zimbabwean nationals who were attempting to cross illegally back into Zimbabwe during the festive period. The SANDF's Major Carl Lewis says they were intercepted during deployments at multiple hotspots. The foreign nationals were handed over to the relevant authorities and no injuries were reported during the operations. SANDF members have been strategically deployed across several regions to ensure border security plus law and order.
