Advocate Jan Lekgoa Mothibi otherwise known as Advocate Andy Mothibi is set to take on the mamoth task of leading the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) amid growing pressure for the institution to secure a high profile state-capture related prosecutions. This after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced Mothibi as the country's next National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP) with effect from the 1st of February 2026.
