President Cyril Ramaphosa has dismissed what he calls "blatant misinformation" about South Africa, following claims by US President Donald Trump that the country will not be invited to the 2026 G20 Summit.

Ramaphosa delivered a National address on Sunday evening, urging South Africans to confront those spreading falsehoods and to bring their concerns to the National Dialogue.

His address follows the closing of South Africa's presidency of the G20 last Sunday. Zara Groenewald reports
