The National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) Project Lead of D20 Andre Hofmeyer says South Africa has good policies that cater for people with disabilities but lacks implementation.
Hofmeyer spoke to SABC News at the annual Nappy Fun Run, Walk or wheel event at the Johannesburg Zoo in Parktown.
The national campaign, which is hosted by the NCPD aims to raise awareness and collect nappy donations for children and adults with disabilities.
