The national broadcaster and Hollywoodbets announced this landmark broadcast partnership shortly before this evening's official draw in Washington for next year's tournament.

The partnership includes the free-to-air rights to the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil. Matches will be broadcast across SABC 1, SABC 3, SABC Sport and SABC Plus, as well as several SABC Radio Stations. South Africa will play in their first World Cup in 16 years next year.

Bafana Bafana played as host nation in 2010 and last qualified for a tournament more than two decades ago.
