* Some schools in Limpopo will NOT open tomorrow due to flooding. Parts of Mopani, Vhembe and Sekhukhune districts are experiencing heavy flooding due to continuous downpours. In-land schools are expected to open for the new academic year across the country tomorrow.

* Long standing perceptions about township schools and their abilities were challenged with this years matric results. According to Gauteng MEC for Education Matome Chiloane, the outcomes of the class of 25 demonstrated that academic excellence exists across all communities.

* Fears grow that the Iranian death toll could be much higher than reported as a government crackdown continues. This follows days of pro and anti government protests. The UN and International rights groups are saying more than 500 people have been killed and thousands arrested. Meanwhile US President Donald Trump posted a tweet aimed at Iranians that help is on the way
