Deputy Finance Minister, David Masondo says South Africa got a positive outlook from S&P due to government debt to GDP stabilising and having higher revenue than its expenditure.

Masondo was speaking at the ongoing NEC meeting at the Ekurhuleni Council Chamber, east of Johannesburg.

The African National Congress is currently holding its ordinary National Executive Committee at the Germiston Council Chambers to discuss a range of issues.

Masondo says Treasury welcomes the outlook as it is a sign for investors to come and invest in the country.
