A police officer, allegedly attending to a mob justice incident, was killed in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga. It is alleged that the officer was mistakenly shot and killed by a colleague during a scuffle. Four local boys, suspected to be criminals, were also killed, and two others are reported to be fighting for their lives in hospital.
